Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs" (Luke 18:16). While the disciples feared that the children might bother Jesus, the Savior embraced them and affirmed their value.
The Old Westbury Adventist Church invites you to attend the Children's Church Program every first Sabbath of the Month from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Children's church is a church service just for children. It begins when the adult church begins. It is most needed by children ages 0-9, who find it challenging to sit for any length of time.
Parents:
Purpose: To allow children to worship in an age-appropriate setting, learn at their level of understanding, and participate in worship.
Junior-age children (11 years and older) are encouraged to attend the regular service. Children's church incorporates traditional worship elements such as praise, prayer, sharing or testimony, studying the Word, a children's sermon, and drama or skits that apply the Word to everyday life. Unique features: Children are given opportunities to participate in worship and understand the worship elements.
Snacks maybe be served, so let the leaders know if your child has any allergies or food restrictions.
Make sure you take your children downstairs to the fellowship hall and pick them up accordingly. Children are not supposed to be alone or walking on church property unsupervised.
Bring your child and their little friend to attend CHILDREN'S CHURCH!
